J&A Mountain Bikes!

All right, so that's a brilliant old advertisement for Lazer Helmets that I've hijacked. But seriously... Mountain bikes are incredible fun and there are so many great places to ride in (or near) Austin: Walnut Creek, The Greenbelt, City Park, Reimer's and Rocky Hill Ranch to name just a few. FELT has always made great bicycles and their off road line up, like their tri bikes, is no exception.

“But do you have the room for all of those extra bikes?” You ask, incredulously.

“Are you familiar with a game called, Bike Tetris?” I respond, thusly.

X-Terra events are popping up all over the place and it seems like such a blast that I reckon the whole X-Terra scene is gonna blow up in the next few years. We've got 26'ers, 29'ers, Hardtails and Full suspension models for you at the shop. Swing by and I'll tell you what all those words and numbers mean or even let you try out a few models.

Even if you're a dyed-in-the-wool pavement junky, mountain biking is a great intensity workout that always improves your bike handling skills and strength. I know from experience that pushing a thirty-pound mountain bike around City Park is a wicked arm workout. In addition, it turns out that the full body clenching from fear of imminent death is great for your core.
